Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is tangible and has always been obedience to God’s plan (Word).

God gave Noah a plan and by faith Noah obeyed and built the Ark; which was the substance of things hoped for (salvation) and evidence of things not seen (God’s judgement). Genesis 6

God gave Abraham a plan and by faith Abraham obeyed and offered up his only son, Isaac.
Genesis 22

God gave Joshua a plan and by faith Joshua obeyed and the walls of Jericho fell down.
Joshua 6

God gave Moses a plan and by faith Moses obeyed and Israel was delivered.
Exodus 12

God gave His Disciples a plan and by faith they obeyed and built the Church. In Matthew (28:19-20), Mark (16:15-16), Luke (24:44-49), and John (3:3-7), we see the Lord give His Plan to His Disciples. In the book of Acts we see how His Plan was carried out by His Disciples.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Mat_24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Joh_17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

God is calling to people like Cornelius (Acts 10), Apollos (Acts 18), and Baptist Disciples (Acts 19), and leading them unto all Truth. (Ephesians 4)
